Haunted Minds: The Catalyst for Poetic Ecstasy
Much like a haunted house teems with spirits reaching out from the ethereal plane, so do the minds of the possessed invite the forces that imbue their art with both allure and dread. Renowned poet Arthur Rimbaud, known for his decadent and tormented works, once claimed that "A poet makes himself a visionary through a long, boundless, and systematized disorganization of all the senses." His words encapsulate the path to poetic ecstasy – one must surrender to chaos and madness to attain the sublime.
Consider the iconic tale of the Romantic poet, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, whose masterpiece "Kubla Khan" is said to have been born under the influence of an opium-induced dream. While the poetic discourse of the possessed might seem harrowing, it serves as a gateway to tap into the realm of heightened emotions and genuine creative expression.
The Specter of Madness and Genius
Madness and genius have long danced together, their intricate steps weaving tales of brilliance and tragedy in equal measure. Vincent van Gogh, the legendary painter, experienced episodes of emotional turmoil and mental instability, producing artworks that emanate an inexplicable emotional resonance. His vibrant brushstrokes mirrored the chaotic hues of his mind. The possessed often possess an uncanny ability to transmute their inner suffering into captivating creations.
But what is the price one must pay to traverse the path of the possessed? In delving into the depths of their own psyche, these artists often navigate murky waters, teetering on the precipice of self-destruction. Yet, it is precisely through their trials and tribulations that the gifts of poetic discourse are honed to perfection.
The Legacy of the Possessed
Through the ages, the legacy of the possessed has continued to ignite the imagination and provoke introspection. From the haunting verses of Emily Dickinson to the macabre tales of H.P. Lovecraft, the impact of their work resonates with generations of readers seeking solace or excitement within the realm of the possessed. These luminaries have gifted humanity with a glimpse into the hallowed halls of the possessed, stirring the depths of our souls and kindling new creative flames.
Embrace the ethereal and embark on your own journey into the poetic discourse with the possessed. Dare to unleash your own inner demons, channeling the darkness to create a symphony of words that transcends the boundaries of our mortal coil. As you walk the path, remember the words of Friedrich Nietzsche, who said, "And those who are dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music." So immerse yourself in the melody of the possessed and let the music guide your soul.
Unveiling the Unseen
, the convergence of poetic discourse and possession offers an otherworldly sanctuary. Here lies a limitless expanse where the tormented soul finds solace, channeling its inner chaos into lyrical transcendence. The possessed, both artists and their art, serve as a testament to the depths of human emotion and our constant yearning for the extraordinary. It is within this realm that the profound connection between madness and artistic brilliance is unveiled, leaving an indelible mark on the annals of creative expression.
So, venture forth, shrouded in the allure of the possessed, and allow your own artistic brilliance to flourish within the enigmatic realm of poetic discourse.

This book is a collection of poems written between 2018 and 2020. The poems were written while the writer was heavily intoxicated. During his battle with alcoholism, he referred to his addiction as a demonic possession due to the fact that he had no control over his actions while he was inebriated.
The poetry to be found within these pages are riddled with religious, archaic and post modern concepts that the writer uses to try to understand himself in the state of "possession".
The poetry is a deep and diabolical look at the inner workings of a man whose life is withering away as a consequence of alcoholism. The discourse surrounds his marriage, his career, his physical and mental health and the path that led him to depend on the bottle.
